_Kicker Subwoofers Reviews For you
_i've
got a hifonics 2000 watt amp pushing them and
might i bridge them or run them straight?Everyone
of those subs are rated for 750 rms. So that's 1500 in
one payemnt. If
the hifonics amp can
be a brutus bxi series it's
overrated by about 20
%therefore
it isa
perfect match for
those subs. Those subs will handle your 2000 watt hifonics amp
quickly
and easily. I
don't know the impedence with
the coils therefore
i can't explainways
to wire them. Ask the question again and add
in what ohm rating the subs are.All I'm
able tosay
is I'm glad you
just aren'tduring
my neighborhood.that
reliesto
the subs impedance (ohms) and
ways in whichthese
are wired for
the amp.If
the subs final impedance in
the amp is 2ohms you
need to be good
Is buying car subwoofers on Ebay a superb ideal?
I searched on Ebay and found "new" Kicker subwoofers for thesuprisingly low price. Am i allowed to trust Ebay to get working car amps and speakers?I do notsee aserious issue with purchasing car audio off of e-bay. We wouldbe certain thatthe ownercontains a good rating with lots of car audio sales and a minimum of 98% positive feedback. I'd personally also look at listing to determinewhether themerchandise is new, "like-new", used, or refurbished. Whether or not this doesn't say, I will e-mail the sellerand see. I will e-mail them anyways simply toensureit is not refurbished. Also, pay with Paypal. With Paypal that you aregoing to get whatever youpurchaseor you willget arefund.i willreceive the subwoofers completely froma shopat the very leastthen you could inspect them b4 u buy.
nope. buying at ebay will just amount to much for quality that stinks.. its much betterif you decide on it completely froma store. in that roomyou can viewthe goods personaly. and thesales personwill let you with hot/not functions too.. its straight forwardif you pick it in the shop. they likewise have warranty. so youdo not possessto purchase the shipping fees.I dont think its a horrible idea you canobtain product and this will preform because it says it'lland turn intoinside condition it says its in however i personally would much rather buy my stuff off all onlinecarstereo.com as theyhave a wide arrayof productsas well as the cheapest prices around an excellent opportunity going there and looking out...if you would likeget a Kicker product then go totheir websiteand click onthe best place to buy. you'll have the authorized internet dealers and onceyou obtainfrom their siteyou get your full warranty

Ebay isn'tunique of buying from every other online places or perhaps a shop....with all the exception you cannot physically see or touch prior to buying. The truth is,there are many AUTHORIZED dealers just like kicker, rockford(high desert audio), etc....They feature factory warranties and everything.Dont take note of the NAY sayers....You will find there'sbelieve that Ebay could be the LARGEST online purchase put onwebsites....beside Amazon.EVERYTHING Ive purchased was from an ebay dealer and have absolutely NOT had ANY problems.
The sole problems possibly you haveis the placeyou purchase used products from those who arecleaning up their closets and what not....I have got several amps that didnt work from average people....and also for thegreater degree,I became refunded..ALSO if you think maybe your were scammed, you'll be able to file an insurance claim with paypal/ebay and they will judge the situation and rule fairly...The consumer usually is releasedon the top...it will be the seller have a tendency to gets s c r e w e d.Yet another excellent thing about Ebay will be the RARE car audio parts I receive that arent made anymore....When amps were amps!Ive got a great collection.

_Wiring Trouble
with my prestige amp and my kicker subwoofers!!!!!!?
I've got kicker 12" VCR subs..... These are 800 watt max ..... I get a presitge 1000 watt amp mono block(PAB-1000 D).... First i couldn't afford but among my subs whilei obtained it i hooked this to my amp plus it worked really good!!! Iobtain the second sub in and turn it ona similarnor sub barly works..... It kept blowing the fuses at my amp and wire ... so i go and geta brand new wiring kit.. i figuredi had to little wire for your amp... i re wire the amp with 8 gauge wire... plus it still will not work. I termed as audio place and they alsosmiled and told mei had been overloading my amp....My subs are dual voice coils and are generally 4 ohm..... my amp is 500X2 ohm, 300x4 ohm . Basicallyi not really know much by any means about wiring subs and please somebody send us a diagram to tips on how to connect right and find the max power.... if you can nowhelp me toplease.. Just what itfeels likeyou probably did is wire the voice coils of both subs in parallel (+ to + and - to - ) and wired both speakers in parallel. This will have produced a 1ohm load for the amp, which isn'ta comfortable load. While you had one sub, you likely wired it in parallel which combined both voice coils to make a 2ohm load. This gave 500 watts towards sub that is good.
Unfortunately, because amp isnt stable at 1ohm, your only options to wire the voice coils in series on each sub then wire each subs in parallel. This canoffer a 4ohm load towards the amp which is a stable load. To wire the coils in series, do the next: connect the negative of merely one coil towards positive of the other coil. Thenegative and positivego out tointeract withthe rest of thebad and the goodthrough the other sub. You are going to wire the coils on the other guitar sub just as: the negative of a singlecoming to the positive of your other along with the remaining negative and positivevisiting the amp. Unfortunately, ever since the voice coils are 4ohms each, there isnt ways to wire both subs and havethe ideal output (i.e. a 500watts x 1 @ 2ohms).
Also, you can attempt using 8 guage wire but itmight not besufficient enoughto permitfor the proper current. I have no ideawhat are the amperage rating is ideal for the amp but a majority class D 1000 watt amps use 4 guage wire. The manual online indicates 10guage or higher... very strange. Personally, whether or not it were my amp, We wouldopt for 4guage tobe safe.
Kicker subwoofers in enclosed kicker box?does anyone determine if gettin these subs already in this particular box will hit hard and provide me the bass you are able to hear generally speaking block? im powering the subs having a hifonics1606d 1600watt mono amp.. anyother sugestions permit me to kno cause i truly want my system to bang !First, the entire watts RMS on the subs and amp MUST match as well as calculated impedance (ohms) must complementthe capability rating of the amp.More often than not when subs are pre-installed by way of the manufacturer in a box, they are configured with their maximum potential.
your boxis likely to make the bass deeper, however, ifyou choose full power you have toget an amp (mono) that suits the watts in the subs or get onewhich has more power.ported boxes create louder thump but sealed boxes promote a cleaner bass responce.if you wish loud as well as kicker box is sealed.i recommened a ported box.I recommendgetting the Kicker L7. 12" solo. The correct box itwill come in. Also, up grade your amp to a KX600. That will pound. I understand this because i have hit 157dbs wehave the identical setup inside a '03 focus zx3
